Vievee Francis is the author of three books of poetry: Blue-Tail Fly, Horse in the Dark (winner of the Cave Canem Northwestern University Poetry Prize for a second collection), and Forest Primeval (winner of the Hurston Wright Legacy Award and the 2017 Kingsley-Tufts Poetry Award). Her work has appeared in numerous print and online journals, textbooks, and anthologies, including Poetry, Best American Poetry 2010, 2014, 2017, 2019, and Angels of Ascent: A Norton Anthology of Contemporary American Poetry. Her new collection, The Shared World, is forthcoming from Northwestern University Press.

Rohan Chhetri is a writer and translator. His second book of poems, Lost, Hurt, Or in Transit Beautiful, is forthcoming from Tupelo Press in September and HarperCollins India in June, 2021. A PhD candidate at the University of Houston, he is a recipient of a 2021 PEN/Heim grant for translation and his poems have appeared most recently in The Paris Review and New England Review.

fey i. kamba (she/they) is a poet, linguist, and activist originally from London, UK. She gained her undergraduate degree in linguistics and cognitive science from Princeton University, where she studied the links between thought, language, and meaning. Currently an MFA candidate in the creative writing program at the University of Houston, she is a recipient of the Inprint C. Glenn Cambor Fellowship, and serves as an assistant poetry editor at Gulf coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts.

Colby Ornell is a third year Phd candidate in fiction at the University of Houston. She has an MFA from Butler University and was born and raised in a small town in Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in several small presses and she currently serves as a Fiction Editor for Gulf Coast.
